Since China's reform and opening up, the rapid economic development has achieved remarkable achievements. China adheres to the basic national policy of opening up to the outside world, builds a new pattern of openness in all directions, and integrates into the world economic system deeply. Chinese President Xi Jinping proposed cooperation initiatives construction to build “New Silk Road Economic Belt” and “21st Century Maritime Silk Road” in 2013. “The Belt and Road” (B&R) upholds the silk road spirit of “peace and cooperation, open and inclusive, mutual learning, mutual benefit and win-win”. It spans different regions, cultures, religious beliefs, and promotes exchanges and mutual recognition between civilizations.
In response to the “The Belt and Road” initiative, this study tour will lead you to experience a journey of Chinese Internet innovation from all over the world, including visit three metropolises Beijing, Shanghai Hangzhou and Shenzhen which full of innovation and vitality; visit the famous universities in China such as Peking University, Tsinghua University and Zhejiang University; walk into the “Silicon Valley” of China to visit more than a dozen of well-known Internet high-tech companies headed by BAT (B=Baidu, A=Alibaba, and T=Tencent); experience "four new inventions" in China- High-Speed Rail, Scan Code Payment, Shared Bicycles and Online Shopping, insight into the Internet and technological progress has brought tremendous changes to China and feel the vitality of "popular entrepreneurship, innovation" of China at the same time.
Day 1. Pick up
Pick up all day, arrange meals on the basis of the arrival flight of guests.
6 P.M, welcome banquet.
Day 2. Visit Tsinghua University and Peking University
Tsinghua University was founded in 1911. About one-fourth of the academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and one-fifth of the academicians of the Chinese Academy of Engineering are Tsinghua alumni.
Visit the prestigious Tsinghua Park;
Visit "training base" of Tsinghua University. This is a student innovation practice platform with an area of nearly 1,000 square meters, including an electronic innovation production laboratory, a mechanical innovation production laboratory, an innovation competition comprehensive debugging room, a student innovation studio, an innovative research laboratory and other mechanical and electrical engineering innovation labs. 
Peking University was founded in 1898. It is the first national university in modern China.
Visit the beautiful scenery of the campus within the Imperial Garden - the Wei Ming Lake and the Bo Ya Tower. 
Visit Peking University Science and Technology Park and Global Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship. Listen to the lectures of Peking University Business Instructor. Feel the entrepreneurial atmosphere of undergraduates.

Day 3. Zhongguancun Frontier Technology Innovation Center and Baidu Headquarters
Zhongguancun Frontier Technology Innovation Center - As the technology landmarks which focus on leading-edge technology and entrepreneurship, many advanced technology companies such as artificial intelligence, smart manufacturing, disruptive new materials, and cutting-edge biology have entered.
Visit the Frontier Technology Achievement Exhibition Hall in Zhongguancun, where you can see high-tech achievements such as artificial intelligence, intelligent manufacturing, disruptive new materials, and cutting-edge biology.
Visit Beijing Baidu Headquarters Building; understand entrepreneurial and development history and feel Baidu's working atmosphere; the experts of enterprise will introduce the solutions of Baidu Cloud and Baidu AI.
Baidu (Nasdap abb:BIDU) is the largest Chinese search engine in the world wide and a core technology-based technology company. Ranked among top three in China, BAT (B=Baidu, A=Alibaba, and T=Tencent). According to data published by Baidu official website, it is sharing total 73.5% on PC and mobile sides, as well as covering 97.5% of China's Internet users. It retains approximately 600 million users and responses daily search more than 6 billion times.
Day 4. Beijing city tour - Experience the charm of a thousand years old city
Tiananmen Square it is the largest city square in the world which could capacity of 1 million people to hold a grand party. It is located in the east of Chang'an Avenue in the center of Beijing. From Tiananmen in the north to Zhengyang Gate in the south, from the China National Museum in the east to the Great Hall of the People in the west. It is 880 meters long from north to south and 500 meters wide from east to west and covers an area of 440,000 square meters.
The Forbidden City is the royal palace of the Ming and Qing dynasties in China. It is a rectangular city with 961 meters long from north to south, 753 meters wide from east to west, surrounded by a wall of 10 meters high on the four sides, a 52 meters wide moat outside the city. It covers an area of 720,000 square meters, construction area of about 150,000 square meters, containing more than 70 palaces and more than 9,000 houses. It is one of the largest and most complete preserved wooden architecture in the world. The Forbidden City is regarded as the first of the world's five largest palaces( the Forbidden City, Versailles, the Buckingham Palace, the White House and the Kremlin).
Houhai is the ancient waters in Beijing over 700 years ago. From the Yuan Dynasty, it was the prosperous commercial area of Metropolis, which was at the end of the boom. The surrounding palaces and celebrities’ former residences are full of the endless charm of history. People can still see the miniatures of the old Beijing courtyard buildings and feel the royal relics that have long gone.
Day 5. Visit HollySys in the moring and then go to Shanghai by High Speed Rail in the afternoon.
Visit exhibition hall of HollySys to learn about the industrial internet platform and industrial big data application solutions. It was founded in 1993 and is the pioneer which provides automation and information technology solutions in China. The core business of HollySys focuses on the three major areas of industrial automation, rail transit automation and medical automation. 
Visit Shanghai by High Speed Rail.
Day 6. Visit Weilai Car、 、Night tour on the Shanghai Bund
Weilai means “Blue Sky Coming”. The brand was initiated by the top Internet companies and entrepreneurs in 2014. It advocates "electricity, intelligence, and networking are the future of automobiles" and is committed to providing high-performance smart electric vehicles and the ultimate user experience. Weilai launched the English brand “NIO” in London in 2016, which means A New Day. It established R&D, design, production and commercial facilities in 13 locations, including San Jose, Munich, London and Shanghai to brought together thousands of world-class professionals in automotive, software and user experience.
\ is the famous online ticket service company which based in Shanghai in 1999. It was listed on Nasdaq in the United States successfully in December 2003. Besides, it ranked top 10 on the list of “Top 100 Internet Companies in China” in 2017.
Shanghai is a municipality directly under the Central Government of the People's Republic of China, a national center city, a super-large city, an international economic, financial, trade, shipping, science and technology innovation center, and the first batch of coastal open cities. Shanghai is located at the mouth of the Yangtze River and has a total area of 6,340 square kilometers. It administers 16 municipal districts and is ranked by the GaWC as the world's first-tier city. The GDP of Shanghai ranks first in China, and Forbes 2017 ranked the "Best Commercial City in Mainland China".
Day 7. Visit Alibaba, Zhejiang University and West Lake Scenic area in Hangzhou.
Visit Alibaba headquarters to learn about entrepreneurial and development history. Alibaba Network Technology Co., Ltd. was founded by 18 people who led by Ma Yun in 1999 in Hangzhou, Zhejiang. Alibaba Group was officially listed on the New York Stock Exchange in September 2014.
Zhejiang University located in the “Heaven on Earth” Hangzhou. It is one of the earliest new higher education institutions established by Chinese. It was praised as "Oriental Cambridge" by British scholar Joseph.
West Lake is one of the top ten scenic spots in China. It is the only lake cultural heritage in China in “The World Heritage List”.
Day 8. Visit the Headquarter of Tencent in Shenzhen.
Tencent was established in November 1998 and is one of the leading Internet value-added service providers in China. Tencent regards “Connecting Everything” as a strategic goal and provides two core services: social platform and digital content. Brand Finance released the 2017 Global Top 500 brands list and Tencent ranked 47th in February 2017.
Day 9. Visit Shenzhen Guangqi Technology Co., Ltd and Headquarter of Huawei
Visit the various black technology products developed by Guangqi to understand the application of Guangqi Technology in smart cities. The company was founded by five Phd who graduated from Duke University and Oxford University and headquartered in Shenzhen in 2010. It is mainly engaged in the development and application of metamaterial stealth technology, metamaterials equipment and innovative aircraft.
Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. is a global leader in information and communication technology (ICT) solutions. It was established in 1987 and is headquartered in Shenzhen. The Fortune magazine released a list of the world's top 500 companies in July 2017 that Huawei ranked 83rd with US$78.51 billion in revenue. Huawei has approximately 180,000 employees and runs business in more than 170 countries and regions around the world, serving more than one third of the world's population at present.
Day 10. Leave the group

CIOTimes was founded by the backbone of the Peking University CIO Forum in 2003, and was also the first batch of project which collected from Peking University during the establishment of Peking University Science Park Innovation Center. CIOTimes has been the only co-operative organsiation of the Peking University CIO classes, since the Peking University CIO class was established from 2005 to 2015 in the period of 10 years.
