Petro Zillia designer Nony Tochterman’s relationship with her clients is unique and influential; they are inspired by her personally as an individual and in turn, they inspire the designs of the popular and fun fashion brand. Considering the importance of this dialogue, March Studio designed a store which incorporated an interconnected adjacent design studio and social garden space in order to allow direct interaction between the designer and her clients. The ‘rainbow’ sensibility of the brand is articulated with the design of the entry canopy and an interior architectural canvas that was created for Nony and her partner Yosi to create a visual and tactile snapshot of the world of Petro Zillia, including an eclectic palette of lighting, furnishings, clothing and accessories.

Bold colors, vivid detail, retro trends with modern twists...this is PETRO ZILLIA. Born in 1996, Petro Zillia takes a whimsical look at high fashion, using luxurious fabrics and innovative ideas. Petro Zillia's carefree, fearless attitude toward clothes is obvious in the structure and path it has chosen to take. It is inspiration for the woman that is fashion savvy and isn't aftraid to wear clothes that reflect her....she is confident, ageless and fun. It observes and honors vintage fashion, with its bright colors, one of a kind patchwork, respect to detail and above all fashion integrity.

Nony T.

Business Owner

For over 25 years, Nony Tochterman has pleased stylish women everywhere with her inventive and trendsetting designs.  Attending what she calls the "School of Life", Nony grew up watching her hip fashion-designing mother run a trendy boutique in her native home of Tel-Aviv Isreal.  She learned to cut, sew and knit by age 7.After a brief stint in L.A. at age 18, Nony moved to New York where she started the company Nony New York, designing accessories, jewelry, and the revolutionary button covers collection.  She was featured in Vogue magazine being named the "Best".Ten years later Nony returned to L.A. to launch her clothing collection, Petro Zillia.Her label soon became synonymous to celebrity fashion.  A favorite on the red carpet and with it girls everywhere, Petro Zillia has been featured in countless magazines, newspapers, and television.In 2005 she earned the top honor for fashion design, the Moss Adams Fashion Innovator (MAFI) Award.
